Arctic Lions 16U Tier II Preliminary Off-Ice Assessments
Tuesday 8/11 and Wednesday 8/12
7PM at UAF Patty Center
The Arctic Lions 16U Tier II team has a team camp scheduled in Wasilla at the Curtis D. Menard Memorial Rink September 4-7th and is proceeding with preliminary off-ice assessments to help with selecting a team prior to this camp. If additional ice is needed (and not yet available in Fairbanks) to make final team selections, players will be invited to travel and participate in this team camp in order for the coaches to make final roster selections.
Coach Mike Rogers and Coach Luke Bonnewell will be doing everything possible this season to ensure development of their hockey players during these unprecedented times and are committed to adapting to whatever is in front of them with creative solutions (already being seen with these off-ice assessments) to help players achieve their goals this season! These off ice assessments are being held free of charge.
Coach Rogers has a solid track record for player development and has taken his teams to two state championship games and one USA Hockey National tournament over the past two seasons. Coach Rogers and Coach Bonnewell are excited about the upcoming season and all that the team can accomplish with hard work and dedication.
